McLaren’s team orders capped off a rather weak 2025 Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix. Max Verstappen surprised with the pace of his Red Bull, but McLaren’s strategy didn’t help either, waiting endlessly for a Safety Car that never arrived. From there, we had the umpteenth case this year where neither Oscar Piastri nor Lando Norris showed the slightest bit of commitment over the radio. McLaren requested a position swap after a slow stop with Norris.
